9pm Sunday evening, 9,5 hours before

We got a call from the carpenter. He had news from the truck driver, the road (prior to our private road) the truck have to take in the morning is covered with ice. Something has to be done!

The only thing we could do was to give the number to the one in charge of the road. Hold your thumbs that this will be solved in time.

Only a nights sleep left...

SNOW!
No snow all winter and now it is falling just in time for the delivery of our house. The outer walls and roof will arrive in smaller pieces on Monday morning at 6.30. By evening the house shell should be up and standing - Hopefully!!!

.....efter en utflykt till Halmstad bestämde vi oss för detta badkar ifrån Noro istället.

We actually found a both cheaper and better version of the bathtub we were planning to buy. So now we will stop looking, this one will be great.

Two weeks left...

Husgrunden börjar ta form, nästa vecka blir det nog en bild på betongplattan. Nu är det bara två veckor kvar tills de stora lastbilarna kommer med ytterväggarna. Spännande!

We can now see exactly where our house will be placed. It is only two weeks left until the big trucks will arrive with the outer walls of our future home.

Today we met a light designer for a consultation. This was our second meeting and it is so worth the money. They have helped us so much. To have the right lighting is so important for the feeling in the house, in a practical way and for the looks of it. There are so many aspects when it comes to the lights and electrical wiring so it is impossible to think of everything on your own.

Redan innan vi bodde i Linnestaden (Gbg) kände vi till Elektrotekniska Byrån, de har ett spännande utbud av lampor och har professionel personal. Av en slump fick vi i våras reda på att personalen består av ljusdesigners som kan ge proffesionell hjälp vid planering av den elektriska röran i hemmet. Det kändes med en gång självklart att använda deras tjänster. Och vi har inte blivit besvikna, efter två konsultationer har vi en bra bild av hur vi vill ha det. Det kommer bli mycket bättre än om vi bara hade använt oss av Myresjöhus standard elritning för vår husmodell. Spännande att få se hur det funkar i verkligheten sen efter allt detta planerande.

Utomhusbelysningen är vi fortfarande lite fundersamma över men det blir nog lättare när huset kommer på plats.
